They’re the ones who’ll laugh
representing your other half
They’re the ones who’ll lend a helping hand,
Without even having it planned
Trust me.
I plea.
Last time I went wrong and chose to flea
Now forcing myself to go back and be gutsy.
Friends may not be forever,
And they may not end up together.
But the good memories of a true friendship will last even through the worst weather
No words can set things right
Not even a bright mind at midnight
Soon you may lose your apologetic appetite.
Then even the brightest cant make things downright
Time to recommit.
Thought I hadn’t received the other’s permit
I sat there looking to quit.
I may be a liar, But looking at everything I said, i’m no hypocrite
